Transit Architect

Experience:  Should have 6-8 years of experience in Architectural design of at least one 4 years experience in Metro Projects.

Job Location:  Bangalore, Mumbai, Gurgaon, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Pune, Nagpur and Chennai.

Job Description:

Job Duties: 

• Develop concepts / design in full compliance with design brief, check with affection plan, actual site dimensions, and authority regulations. Work closely with architects to set out geometry, accuracy in drafting, for all GA drawings.

• Prepare list of deliverables, as required by the project brief and scope of services in the agreement. Create a project programme and discuss targets against list of deliverables.

• Study and work out all major components like vertical transportation elements, external envelope, façade cleaning systems, life safety requirements etc.

• Develop details, sections and guide architects to progress work and follow up closely.

• Liaise with the QS department of any changes made after issuing for pricing with records.

• Prepare / coordinate schedules, specifications and design reports .

• Ensure all required level of information with respect to detailing, design specs, referencing and agreed multi-disciplinary requirements are incorporated.

• Contribute positively to design and technical quality within AECOM.

• Develop project specific implementation strategies and collaborate with project teams to insure BIM success by Standardize and document Revit workflows & best practices.

• Enforce ethics and compliance policy including Third Party payment, Sub-consultancy engagement process and Gift and Entertainment policy

Specific Skills Required: 

• Good working Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop,

• Optional – MSP, Navisworks, Solibri

• Experience of Industries, Commercial, Metro, datacenters ( is a plus)

Minimum Qualification

• Bachelors in Architecture. 

Specific Skills Required (Hiring manager completion required, mandatory) 

Good working experience in MS office.

Should be a team player, proactive, adaptable.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience:

• Should have 6-8 years of experience in Architectural design of at least one 4 years experience in Metro Projects.

• Have experience with modelling software (Revit) in an engineering environment.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook)
