Roles and Responsibility :
Title: Technical Specialist – Cybersecurity Engineer
Experience: 3-7 years of Experience
Qualification: Bachelor’s / Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, other related area or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- No. of years of progressive related experience in IT Cyber Security or related field. Should support the product development teams for implementing Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) practices.
- Experience with security architecture and operational support. Experience in security technologies (firewall, antivirus, intrusion detection/prevention, security information event monitoring, vulnerability scanning, data loss prevention, encryption, PKI, Identify Access Management, Rights Management Services, etc.). Knowledge of latest security principles, techniques, and protocols
- Experience with one or more scripting languages (e.g., PERL, Python, Java, shell scripts, etc). and Good hands-on on the Object-Oriented programming (CPP, .net and Java, Advanced Java)
- Write technical reports that include suggested resolution for identified problem areas and perform operational risk assessment.
- Lead cyber security related projects for product engineering tools
- Ability to effectively work with the engineering teams to provide technical risk-assessment of technologies in networks, applications.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing in line with Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP)
- Work closely with Cyber Security Tools Architect to understand new security enhancements projects
- Develop Technical Profile/ Requirements for security related projects
- Work closely with Global Development Leader and Project leads to understand impact of security related projects on different product engineering tools
- Develop implementation timeline for different tools
- Ensure tools requirements are developed as per the cyber security design and architecture
- Review implementation approaches in Architect Group

1.Certification in security domain
2.Minimum 2 years of experience in ECU security testing.
3.Minimum 2 years of experience in CAN or MOST protocol testing.
4.Experience in Cummins Engineering tools will be added advantage.
